Featured in the BKLYNER: as “Vegan Woman Grips the Soles of Dancers”
We are excited about Rebelle, our newest addition to the Cynthia King Vegan Ballet Slipper line. Rebelle features lightweight stretch canvas with pre-sewn elastics, a 100% vegan synthetic spilt sole, and enclosed stretch binding that eliminates the drawstring!
When you choose Cynthia King Vegan Ballet Slippers, you have taken a graceful step towards reducing cruelty to animals and improving our environment. You not only help save the lives of the animals used in the production of shoes, but you also help to conserve the habitat of many others. Gorillas, chimpanzees, and many other species face deforestation and homelessness every day due to unnecessary destruction of their habitats for livestock production. Waterways around the world continue to suffer lingering effects of pollution from factory farms and tanneries, some closed generations ago. Using cruelty free ballet slippers directly conserves natural resources and saves lives.
Thank you for shopping responsibly and compassionately.
2018-2019 full year Performance Program classes have begun.
Fall seasonal classes begin on September 23!
Our dancers performed Hands Up at the first annual Black VegFest on Saturday, August 11 in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn!! It was definitely the WETTEST performance we’ve ever done...especially the run-through on the sidewalk in the drenching rain. The audience was impressed, moved and inspired by the performance. We are grateful for such a tough and dedicated team.
Company Track is part of our performance program which runs from September 2018-June 2019. Dancers accepted into the program will perform in our annual spring series at Kumble Theater.
This year several Company Track dancers auditioned and got into our dance companies and into prestigious Performing Arts High Schools in NYC.
Be sure to RSVP to secure your spot at the audition.
