Q: Is your program accepting new students?
No, Cynthia King Dance Studio closed as of June, 2026. BUT we are accepting adults interested in our drop-in classes. AND Cynthia King Dance Company will continue to perform throughout the community.
Q: What is the structure of the adult drop-in class?
Class includes a rigorous workout/conditioning followed by rotating dance styles including Hip Hop, Jazz, Bollywood and Contemporary. Suitable for those who are familiar with workout basics: squats, pushups and planks etc.
Q: Where and when are adult classes offered?
327 East 5th St. Brooklyn, NY 11218.
The schedule is subject to change. Text 718-521-4043 for the next class. Classes are typically offered on weekday evenings and Sundays. RSVP required.

Yes. The company, featuring advanced studio alumni and select current adult dance class members, performs locally and internationally. You might spot us at community events: Flatbush Frolic, the Hummingbird Festival, and the Black VegFest, to name a few.
