New Pre-K Dance Class

Dancers aged 3-4 years are invited to join us for our upcoming session of Pre-K Dance meeting Sundays from 9:30-10:15am beginning March 6.

Children aged 3-4 learn body part/spacial awareness as they are introduced to the structure of a dance class. This class is a great introduction to basic ballet vocabulary, posture, and alignment and serves as a foundation for more advanced classes. While studying proper technique, students enjoy story dances, moving as a group, and expressing themselves creatively to a variety of musical styles.

For dancers aged 7+ (class placement is determined by age & ability)

Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm
Week I: July 11-15
Week II: July 18-22
Week III: July 25-29

Dancers may participate in one, two, or all three weeks.

Any one week: $365
Any two weeks: $705 (that's a $25 discount)
Any three weeks: $1,045 (that's a $50 discount)

Dance Labs Start February 7

There are still a few spots in February's Dance Lab. After a thorough warm-up, including Modern, Hip Hop, and Ballet technique, Ms. King will set new and vintage choreography using unique props and set pieces. Creative input from the dancers is encouraged.

Dance Lab #1 Details:
* Sundays, February 7, 14, 21, 28
* From 2-3pm (ages 7-9) and 3-4pm (ages 10 and up)
* Tuition is $89

Valentine Jam at the Dance Studio

On Friday, February 12, the competition will be fierce!

CKDS is co-hosting a fierce dance battle with Rep Your Style on Friday, February 12 at 5pm at 21 Snyder Avenue. B-boys, B-girls, and free styling dancers will compete for a $100 cash prize in the Kidz Battle. Cheer them on and stay after for the Bonnie & Clyde Battle, during which NYC's best B-boys and B-girls will compete for a $500 prize!
